WHAT WE COLLECT
- Your email (or Apple / Google sign-in), username, and confirmation you’re 18 or older.
- Your preferences: city, categories, cost and distance.
- The Detours you take, the memories and photos you choose to save, and anything you post or suggest.
LOCATION
We use your city to suggest Detours. We never show anyone your exact location, and we remove location data from every photo before it’s stored.
WHO SEES WHAT
- Your Scrapbook is private by default. Only Field Notes you choose to post are public, and you can post them anonymously.
- Detours you suggest show your handle only if you sign them.
- People never see who reported or blocked them.
AI AND ANALYTICS
- AI is used to generate Detours and to check posts against the Community Guidelines.
- Usage analytics never include your notes, photos, exact location or reports.
DELETING YOUR DATA
Delete posts at any time, or delete your whole account from Settings. Some records may be kept for a limited time where safety or the law requires it.
